The Mentalist Season 6: Jisbon Scoop
TV Line dished the scoop on the future for Jisbon (Jane and Lisbon). In response to a fan of The Mentalist, Michael Ausiello quoted Heller as saying the Jisbon "chemistry has always been there bubbling up."
"The conclusion of the Red John mystery later this fall will have a profound impact on (Jisbon's) relationship - for better or worse," Ausiello wrote.
"Up until now, they've been tied by this professional dynamic and this mission they're on," Heller said, adding, "And that held their personal relationship in suspense. Once the Red John saga is done, how do they find a new way to relate to each other? The chemistry has always been there bubbling up. But he now has other priorities and other agendas and other pressures."

The Mentalist Season 6 Spoiler Complication
Viewers know Jane is very much aware Teresa Lisbon is in-love with him. That he is making clear to her that they are partners is proof positive she means a lot to him, too. We might see more of the deeper way they care for each other in The Mentalist Season 6 premiere. Not far into the season, Lisbon will be acting strange around Red John suspects, including her CBI boss.
Ausiello also teased that someone's arriving, "a new female character" and "a series regular."
"When you're as good a detective as Jane is, it's very hard to walk away even when you want to walk away," Heller said. "Some people won't let Jane walk away from what he's so good at. And our new female lead has something to do with that."
Did Bruno Heller just say The Mentalist Season 6 is not the final season of the show? He has earlier said ending the series will be like breaking a family. Perhaps it all depends on ratings. So we stand by.
